We are assisting a colleague in the hiring of a Director / Sr. Manager of Human Resources for one of their clients. This position is with a rapidly growing firm in the transportation / logistics sector.

The ideal candidate for this role will have related transportation / logistics experience combined with the mentality of working in an early stage firm (200 associates). They will develop organizational strategies to support company growth while managing the administrative functions of Human Resources (HR) for the entire company. This role will develop policy while directing the HR generalist and coordinating policy and compliance, compensation and payroll, labor relations, training, and employee relations.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Broad based experience in virtually all areas of HR: Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Payroll and Administration, Talent Acquisition / Talent Management, etc.

  • Ability to manage to shifting priorities and changes in the environment.

  • Flexibility, adaptability as required in a fast-growth organization. Ability to lead and manage through chaos.

  • Understanding and experience in building culture within an organization.

  • Experience in developing / implementing practical HR frameworks and processes within HR and the organization as a whole.

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

  • At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred.

  • SHRM-CP a plus.

  • This is an on site role in Dublin OH
