Director Sales Support

Location: ?This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Director Sales Support is responsible for directing and developing sales support activities.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manages sales support areas which may include broker call center, sales support staff, sales training and technology, broker administration, proposals, product development, or material distribution.

  • Maximizes client retention through timely and effective resolution of client issues.

  • On-time and accurate operational delivery of client requests and client requirements at contract renewal.

  • Provides advanced support to all internal and external sales. Identifies best practices and implements processes.

  • Develops sales support business plan.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Health/managed care experience required.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

  • Excellent tactical planning, organizational, and negotiating skills strongly preferred.

  • Building and developing client focused teams preferred.

  • Meeting with clients and communicating with members to resolve issues preferred.

  • Training teams and leading associate performance management strategies preferred.

  • Leading the continuous improvement process of a team with changes impacting people, process and technology preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary range for this specific position is $112,560 to $192,960.
