As the Director of Projects & Developments, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading major initiatives to facilitate the growth of the organization. Reporting directly to the COO, you will collaborate to implement strategic projects aimed at enhancing our industrial infrastructure and ensuring market relevance. Your primary responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, analyzing data to drive informed decisions, and overseeing various departments to achieve our long-term objectives in Capsules & Closures.

Responsibilites

Head and oversee the Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, NPD (New Product Development), and FTS (Full-Time Support) departments to foster technological growth and potentially open new operational locations in the USA.

Work in close partnership with the manufacturing, purchasing, and sales teams to synchronize strategies and meet organizational goals.

Lead efforts to boost efficiency and minimize waste by rolling out continuous improvement projects and refining maintenance procedures.

Promote a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture by encouraging an ethos of productivity increase and waste minimization, applying Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Evaluate and advocate for investments and enhancements through comprehensive data analysis, ensuring they are in line with organizational objectives.

Manage the NPD and Design groups to refine product designs and guarantee customer satisfaction.

Streamline processes for the closure segment by ensuring effective collaboration among operations, engineering, and technology departments.

Oversee production leaders to enhance production planning, increase efficiency, and maintain quality standards.

Maintain adherence to environmental, health, and safety norms, in close coordination with the EHS department.

Work with the executive team on crafting strategies for capital investments, process advancements, and HR policies to foster expansion goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and project management roles.

Experience in the wine, spirits, or beverage manufacturing industry a plus

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and take initiative.

Ability to conduct plant inspections and lift up to 25 pounds.
