We at Element Energy are seeking a seasoned Director or Senior Director in SaaS R&D Engineering to spearhead the development of cutting-edge software solutions.
Your role will involve orchestrating the creation of commercial web/app-based SaaS services integrated with our innovative ESS architecture and BMS. You'll be at the helm of managing Cloud infrastructure for large-scale IoT fleets of Lithium-ion batteries, ensuring their reliability, availability, and maintainability align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop commercial web/app-based SaaS services integrated with our innovative ESS architecture and BMS.
- Manage Cloud infrastructure for large-scale IoT fleet of Lithium-ion batteries.
- Design and implement user-friendly SaaS scenarios, services, and features.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and software engineers for seamless feature deployments.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and maintainability of Cloud services aligned with business goals.
- Oversee software development life cycle from concept to customer services.

The Person
- High literacy in front-end and back-end programming languages, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, java, etc. for web and app operation environments Competency in designing optimized architecture for commercial web/app services and software.
- High literacy in cloud services, features and functions of AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Competency in developing business-centric performance metrics for battery ESS.
- High competency in design of user interface and interaction structure for battery ESS for utility.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication.
- Competency in managing and evaluating contractors and service providers by applying objective performance criteria.
Credentials
- 10 or more years of experience in battery ESS or renewable energy SaaS software development.
- 10 or more years of track records of successful operation of cloud with high RAM (reliability, availability, maintainability) scores aligned with business goals and objectives.
- 10 years of experience in building commercial cloud-based services for large-size IOT data and fleet.
- 10 years of experience in hands-on development of front-end stack of Cloud/web services.
- 5 years of experience in collaboration with AI-driven software products as essential part of the commercial cloud services.
- 5 years of experience in managing customer feedback and user experience on cloud/web-based services.
- Mature managerial experience in managing, evaluating and collaborating with consultants and contractors for Cloud/web development.
- MS or higher degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Industry certifications preferred such as professional Cloud/Data engineering or similar.
