The Director is tasked with leading the charge in data analysis, interpretation, and presentation efforts to bolster educational strategies, elevate student achievement, and ensure adherence to state and federal accountability mandates. Qualifications A minimum of five years of classroom experience in public education. At least three years in an administrative capacity or equivalent experience. Demonstrated proficiency in EVAAS, Excel spreadsheets, Google Sheets, and other relevant data analysis tools. Proven ability to create detailed charts and graphs to illustrate testing outcomes and student data. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a history of successful project management and team leadership. Commitment to ethical data use, with strict adherence to privacy laws and best practices. Essential Duties Design and implement comprehensive testing programs for all educational levels, including standardized assessments and diagnostic instruments. Execute in-depth research and analysis to determine the effectiveness of educational programs and initiatives. Utilize EVAAS for school performance assessments and improvement identification. Maintain accurate and reliable complex data reports using advanced data management tools like Excel and Google Sheets. Develop visual representations of data, including charts and graphs, to communicate testing results, student progress, and other key metrics to stakeholders. Collaborate with educators and administrators to apply data-driven insights in curriculum development and instructional strategy enhancement. Lead training sessions for staff on data analysis tools and methodologies. Ensure compliance of testing and accountability protocols with regulatory standards. Serve as the primary liaison between the school district and external entities on matters related to testing and accountability. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exceptional analytical skills for effective data analysis and presentation. In-depth knowledge of educational testing, research methodologies, and accountability practices. Advanced skills in data management and visualization tools, with a focus on EVAAS, Excel, and Google Sheets. Excellent communication abilities to articulate complex information to a non-technical audience. Leadership and organizational prowess to manage multiple projects and guide teams towards achieving objectives. A principled approach to data handling, ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable laws.
