Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the operation, financial management, and strategic direction of the Supportive Housing department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that meet the needs of our clients and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
3. Work closely with the Finance team to develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources.
4. Collaborate with the Clinical Services team to ensure that clients receive appropriate and effective support services, including case management, counseling, and other mental health services.
5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and government agencies.
6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Supportive Housing department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
7. Ensure compliance with all HUD regulations and requirements, including the completion of all necessary reporting and documentation.
8. Provide leadership and supervision to the Supportive Housing team, fostering a positive and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supportive housing or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
3. Strong knowledge of HUD regulations and requirements related to supportive housing.
4. Experience with clinical services, including case management, counseling, and mental health services.
5. Excellent financial management skills, including budget development and oversight.
6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
9. Commitment to serving individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.
10. Ability to travel as needed to oversee programs and meet with stakeholders.
