Moldaw Residences is recruiting for a hospitality focused Director of Residential Services to join our team. This role provides full-scope, hands-on serving functions within the community. The Director of Residential Services performs all the necessary functions of ensuring a successful move-in of all future residents. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Director of Residential Services: Serves as the primary contact with the future resident regarding move-in dates and details surrounding the orientation process. Develops and updates as needed the community move-in guide/welcome packet. Coordinates all moving logistics and furniture deliveries for current and future residents. Provides personalized orientations to help new residents using welcome packet. Works closely with Plant Operations, Sales and Concierge to achieve utmost standards of customer service and satisfaction Remains available and actively engages in support of global community needs. Staffs the front desk team to meet business needs which may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Oversees move outs to ensure easy transition. Participates in marketing events as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing. Works closely with the Hospitality and Safety Committees to ensure company standards and resident needs are met. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Previous management experience in a RCFE/CCRC setting Two years' experience in the senior living industry One year experience in hospitality preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with people with hearing, visual and cognitive impairments. Must be able to approach all aspects of the position logically and creatively. Will be expected to develop new programs, enhancing, or replacing existing programs to meet the needs of the residents. Must be able to troubleshoot problems using own resources.
