What You'll Do As a the Director of Residential Sales you will oversee and lead the activities of the Residential Sales Department. You'll offer support for the sales team in crafting and honing their sales and operational expertise. You'll also perform training, data collection, data compilation, and corrective action to enhance overall team performance. And you won't just be in a sales silo, you'll get to work across departments to ensure clear communication and resource alignment.

Who You Are What does it take to be a successful as the Director of Residential Sales at American Pest? For starters, you'll have at least 2 years of experience as a manager or supervisor of a consumer sales team, operating in both remote and hybrid work environments. You'll also have

A bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred) - High school diploma required
A minimum of 1 year working with a web-based customer database or CRM (PestPac preferred) and SaaS telephony tools
Experience developing, reading, analyzing, and interpreting business data/reports including use of tools and techniques
The ability to source, coach, and support direct reports via sales initiatives and training
Strong and demonstrated oral and written communication skills
The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, representatives, and customers
The ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team to hone their craft to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved, and monthly targets are met
A track record of increasing an organization's efficiency, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction by leveraging call center technologies and process enhancements
A highly motivated personality, serious about self-development in the leadership & call center arena, and a strong work ethic
The ability to effectively manage your time, prioritizing multiple tasks, maximizing performance while remaining customer focused
The ability to understand customers' needs, handle objections, and close business
A knack for outside-the-box thinking and a love of problem solving & creativity
The ability to learn and retain complex pest control industry knowledge (i.e. general pest information, treatment methods, service protocols, etc.) through company provided online, field, and classroom training
A strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
The ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, safety regulations, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
