Director of Pharmacy Services Full Time Days

Position Summary Manages and is responsible for all aspects of pharmaceutical care at Delray Medical Center and all contracted and outpatient pharmacy services. The director is the pharmacist of record with the Board of Pharmacy for the State of Florida. This includes, but is not limited to, all professional and technical aspects of departmental operations. These operations include clinical practice as well as medication use and delivery systems to ensure safe, progressive, state-of-the-art operations. In conjunction with the operations manager and clinical coordinator, the director is responsible for the management of the patient care unit based pharmacists. The director shall be skilled in developing standards of practice for screening of all age, dosage and disease dependent variations (i.e. geriatrics and pediatrics) and for operations of the Department of Pharmacy. Position Qualifications EDUCATION: Minimum: BS, Pharmacy Preferred: Master's Degree in Pharmacy or related areas EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years experience in responsible growth orientated management position in health care facility. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: Florida Pharmacist License, Florida Consultant Pharmacist License OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Supervisory experience required Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
