The Graduate Student Government is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Director of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the graduate student government and assisting with administrative duties.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of GSG.
  • For summer 2023: organize the international students pick up shuttle service for incoming fall 2023 students.
  • Work with the VP of finance to maintain proper records keeping of the GSG budget
  • Work with Stamp Student Union, Facilities Management, and the Division of student affairs to create engaging graduate student events for the graduate student community
  • Liaise with other student organizations, departments, and university administrators to ensure the proper communication and organization of the GSG
  • Oversee the organization of the GSG's google drive
  • Attend and actively participate in all meetings of the graduate student government, including monthly GSG assemblies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the President and Vice-Presidents to help achieve the proper fulfillment of the goals and initiatives
  • Assist the elections committee chair to properly recruit and engage with prospective GSG representatives
  • Attend bi-weekly GSG Exec Board meetings
  • Supervise the Graduate Research Appreciation Day (GRAD) coordinator who coordinates GRAD in April.
