Hunter Gibbons is seeking an experienced leader to fulfill this critical role, driving excellence in emergency care and patient outcomes as the Director of Nursing Labor and Delivery.
Summary:
As the Director, your role revolves around the strategic planning, organization, and efficient management of resources within one to two departments, operating round-the-clock. Responsibilities encompass budget management, resource optimization, staff recruitment, effective team management, ensuring high-quality outcomes, continuous performance enhancement, service quantity and quality monitoring, equipment procurement, and maintenance. You'll also complete required competencies within the designated introductory period and fulfill any other assigned related duties.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Preferred Education: Master's degree in nursing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum Experience: 5 years in discipline or specialty
- Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of progressively responsible management experience
- Required Certifications/Licensure: Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
- Preferred Certifications/Licensure: Specialty or Administration certification
- Required Courses/Completions: BLS obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
