Director of Nursing Roxboro, NC 27573 Must-Haves North Carolina or Compact State RN License required. Bachelor s degree in Nursing is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association upon hire Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Two to three years of professional nursing experience with one year in supervisory experience is required. Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree in Nursing is required. North Carolina or Compact State RN License required. Certifications/Licenses: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) is required through American Heart Association upon hire. Licenses: Registered Nurse license is required. Required Skills Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Two to three years of professional nursing experience with one year in supervisory experience is required. Knowledge of State and Federal regulations in Nursing Homes is preferred. The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of long-term care patients and families.
