Hospital Details Vibra Hospital of Northern California, located in Redding, CA, is a 50 bed Critical Care Hospital and a 32 bed SNF providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. Responsibilities Responsible for the administration of nursing services in the Skilled Nursing Facility/Transitional Care Unit. Directs, plans, and coordinates service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering customer care. Interprets facility policies and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensures compliance, as well as analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services rendered to improve quality of customer care and to better utilize staff time and abilities. Also ensures the provision of in-service training programs for nursing personnel. Required Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in current program with a completion date of 2 years required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required. Minimum three (3) years of experience in medical-surgical and/or SNF nursing required. Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience required. Additional Qualifications/Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Three (3) years experience in an administrative position within a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred. Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor preferred. Experience and knowledge of operations, including staffing and scheduling, budget management, workflow planning and staff development. Ability to manage the practice of nursing within the mission of the facility. Demonstrated ability to participate in recruitment and hire of qualified staff. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Posted Total Compensation The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It's not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current (hourly or annual) range is $50.00 to $65.97
