Director of Nursing

Director of Nursing Hillcrest Health Services is looking for an experienced leader to join our team as the Director of Nursing at Hillcrest Shadow Lake in Papillion. The Director of Nursing is responsible for following the residents from admissions through transition, compliance of federal, state, and Medicaid regulations, as well as the appropriate completion of the RAI process and Medicaid billing for residents. Gym membership reimbursement and partner discounts. What does a day in the life look like? Direction and supervision of the nursing department to meet the needs and goals of the residents. Will include supervision of any daily, weekly, or monthly meetings and daily resident rounds. Monitor and manage MDS process for Medicaid and insurance. Responsible for the education needs of facility team members. Coordinate with unit manager to ensure that resident care needs are met focusing on new admits, pending discharges, and residents at high risk for re-hospitalization. Monitor for the completion and forwarding of physician certification letters. What should I have to be considered? Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. At least five years' experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred. At least three years' experience as a unit manager, ADON, or DON preferred.
