Director of Nursing

Rosewalk Assisted Living is now hiring a Director of Nursing (LPN or RN) What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities? Making a difference in the lives of the residents we serve by providing them care and compassion. Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates. Maintains, and implements nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice, company policy, and facility philosophy of care and practices while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage for the facility, appropriateness of staff, absence of odors, cleanliness, absence of pressure wounds, maintenance of optimal physical, mental and, psychosocial function Collaborates with physicians, consultants, community agencies, and institutions to improve quality of services and to resolve identified problems. Requirements Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Indiana RN or LPN License Two years professional nursing experience in residential or skilled nursing community. Two years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
