Psychiatric & Substance Abuse residential facility in the
Umatilla / Altoona, FL area. Management experience as a Registered Nurse in the Psychiatric / Mental Health setting is required. Substance Abuse experience background is preferred but not a must. Relocation candidates are welcome to apply. This area is rich in outdoor activities and provides nearby access to Disney and other Orlando area attractions.
Director of Nursing Requirements - Registered Nurse with Psychiatric Mental Health focus.
- SUD experience highly preferred.
- Active state or compact RN license.
- Management experience over directly reporting nursing team.
Director of Nursing Responsibilities - Lead nursing team providing psychiatric care including risk assessments, checking vitals, and medication management.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team and Medical Director.
- Ensure compliance with established clinical guidelines including timely and accurate EMR documentation.
- Build relationships with a diverse set of patients that have co-occurring disorders or a dual diagnosis.
