Job Details

Director of Nursing (RN)

The Director of Nursing will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic goals of a dynamic team of nursing professionals, medical assistants, utilization review and case management.

  • Overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that they provide the highest level of patient care.
  • Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures that adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Managing the nursing department's budget.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to determine the best patient care outcomes.
  • Evaluating staff performance and providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure continuous professional development.
  • Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest nursing practices.
  • Participating in strategic planning and decision-making at the senior management level to drive the overall success of the organization.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. Master's preferred
2. 3+ years proven leadership experience as a Nurse Manager, Director or equivalent
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of professionals.
5. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
6. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
