Director of Nursing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN); - Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, preferred. Experience: - One (1) year of teaching or clinical supervision experience in an accredited/approved vocational/practical nursing program or registered nursing program over the last five years; - Three (3) years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) over the last five years. Licenses, Certifications, and Testing: - Must meet the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) requirements for Director of Vocational Nursing, which includes but are not limited to: o Hold a current California active license as a Registered Nurse (RN); o Completed a course or courses with instruction in administration, teaching, and curriculum development.
