Our client is a privately held, minority and Hispanic owned $80 million light industrial staffing firm with offices in multiple states and more than 2,000 field employees on assignment daily with a 5 year goal to become $200 million in overall revenue. They are seeking an engaging, performance-driven sales leader that has the ability to travel up to 75% of the time. This person will spend 2-3 days in-market with their sales reps going on sales meetings/sales blitzes, removing roadblocks, in-market training/development, ensure reps are meeting their production goals, assisting them in moving their sales funnels forward, attending meetings, implementing sales strategies. Will be actively involved identifying, developing, and hiring sales staff in new markets; this includes having individual sales responsibilities (at times) in NEW markets and ensuring YOY market growth.

The National Sales Director will have the ability to identify areas needing improvement with individual sales reps, train and develop the needed improvement areas. Will communicate effectively with executive leaders of the company on individual market performance, sales reps under performing, create and execute on action plans to improve sales rep performance, increased market share, overall sales revenue.

As the Director of National Sales you MUST be located in New Jersey, Florida OR Texas. You will be managing and communicating with the team, traveling 75%-80% of the time. You will manage 8+ BDM's, as well as train and guide those on your team.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with the team by way of video, phone and in-market

  • Understand what the team needs and/or is lacking

  • Effectively communicate with executive leaders on all items related to sales, BDMs, improvements, action plans,

  • Training, guiding, and removing roadblocks

  • Holding sales team accountable to meeting/exceeding their performance goals

  • Identify and launch new markets to meet company overall growth plans

  • Create sales goals and stretch goals

  • Must be willing to travel 75%-80% of the time

    • You will be the leader, meet with the BDM's, how they conduct their business, closing, approach, meetings.



  • Coach, train, develop sales reps while in-market



Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of staffing sales management experience

  • Proven track record of leading, developing, growing a sales team, opening new markets

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to identify strengths/weaknesses of BDMs and train accordingly

  • Successful track record working with mid to large size customers

  • MUST be located in Texas, Florida, OR New Jersey
