The OKANA Resort and Indoor Waterpark is located along the Oklahoma river within 10 minutes from downtown. As Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, attract new guests and elevate the overall guest experience. The Director of Marketing will oversee all marketing planning and execution strategies for the resort.


Our ideal candidate is an energetic marketing professional who thrives on creativity and planning including:


Branding Awareness/Positioning/Social Media expert
Media and P.R. Strategy
Supervise and lead a team
Produce engaging content for our online presence
Track and Monitor progress for all campaigns
Collaborate with all departments to execute on strategy
Produce marketing budgets/monitor and control expenses
Source advertising placements/manage budget and process
Conduct market research to keep abreast of trends/competitors
Excellent communication skills
Manage community relations
Thorough knowledge of web analytics
Ability to engage others/teamwork
Excellent presentation skills
Agency management (Social Media/Public Relations)
Storytelling from Data and Analysis
Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
Support Sales team with creative marketing approach
Generate marketing materials for team
Manage partnerships and sponsorships and deliver expectations
Lead multiple projects with a steady approach



Responsibilities

Previous Resort and/or Waterpark experience
Pre-opening experience, a plus, preferably at an Independent Resort Lifestyle Hotel
Bachelors Degree, preferred
3+ years of combined marketing, advertising and/or e-commerce experience
Prior Hospitality/Tourism experience recommended
