Job Description:
Looking for a visionary leader with a knack for innovation, organization, and results. Responsible for shaping our client's brand and driving growth, this multifaceted role involves leading a team of marketing and communication experts while collaborating with external agencies. Seeking a proactive individual who can propel their organization forward by working closely with sales to develop strategies and tools for business expansion. Responsible for fostering strong customer relationships that fuel financial success.   • PR/Communications- Establish PR Strategy, including strategic partnerships that support growth. Primary contact for media relations. Secure speaking engagements through relevant outlets, influencers, and podcasts. Draft, distribute, and track press releases. Track the effectiveness of our media campaigns. Actively engage with both mainstream and EV media outlets to secure press coverage and build new communication opportunities to position our company as the leader in the industry
  • Brand Strategy- Develop and implement branding strategies that resonate with our target audience, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects our brand values, creates a memorable experience, and tells a story
  • Web Presence- Manage content updates to the corporate website in alignment with our business verticles. Establish and bring forward ideas and an approach for SEO that would help our business stand out from our competition. Lean hard on social media themes that resonate with B2B and B2C markets to redirect interest and business to our company and e-commerce site. Bring forward technology ideas that can help elevate the user experience and help us manage our business more efficiently.
  • Sales Tool Creation- With the sales team, identify key messaging and create compelling tools and arguments that help improve communication and shorten the sales cycle
  • Industry and Trade Events: Maximize our impact, stand out from the crowd, and drive ROI and lead generation at industry and trade events. Create meaningful strategic engagement events. Use all available tools and messaging to craft and capture the audience's attention and interest in our value proposition. Manage with your team lead generation tools to allow us to access opportunities better and capture and secure more business.
  • Leadership: : Curate thought leadership opportunities and provide guidance and direction to senior leaders on any external facing material (presentations, social media, events, press releases, etc.) to ensure consistent and compelling representation of our brand. Own and execute all other day-to-day marketing operations as dictated by the business
Required skills
  • Bachelors or Masters in Marketing, PR, Communications, or a related field. Plus 10+ years of industry experience and five years in management or project leadership
  • A passion for amazing marketing and/or communications outcomes with a proven track record, ideally within the EV or SaaS domain.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to trade shows as needed
  • PR/Communications, Brand Strategy, Web/SEO, Sales Tools, Leadership experience
Bonus/Soft Skills:
  • If not specific industry experience, SaaS
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Affinity for leading with a personalized approach and empathy.
  • Adeptness in engaging in harmonious dialogue, proactive thinking, and the ability to challenge ideas constructively.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, navigating ambiguity gracefully and with agility.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer relations experience.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
