Our organization is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and results-oriented individual to fill the role of Director of Manufacturing - Biologics. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and support our Biologics Manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of our biologics products, ensuring that they are produced safely, efficiently, and of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the entire manufacturing process, from upstream to downstream operations, ensuring that all processes are carried out in accordance with established protocols and regulations.

2. Manage the production of biopharmaceutical products, ensuring that they meet the required quality standards.

3. Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing operations, including improving efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing productivity.

4. Collaborate with the research and development team to facilitate the smooth transition of new products from the lab to the manufacturing floor.

5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including GMP, FDA, and EMA guidelines.

6. Lead and manage a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

7. Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing leadership, with a focus on biologics.

3. Proven experience in both upstream and downstream manufacturing processes.

4. Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EMA regulations.

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.

8. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
