Description Provides support and administration for institutional research (IR) collection, interpretation, and application of institutional data in support of the College's external reporting requirements and internal data needs. Reports to the Provost and works closely with other respective divisions of the College in pursuit of data collection, assessment and application. For the right candidate this position has the ability to be remote with consistent visbility on campus (minimum of once a month) to meet wit key stakeholders. Essential Job Responsibilities: Develop and manage College data useful to institutional management and longitudinal analysis including storage, access, manipulation and reporting Manage and analyze data for College, State, Federal, and accreditation reporting requirements Provide data to government agencies as required by law (i.e. IPEDS) Prepares a variety of internal and external reports, including but not limited to AICUP, the College dashboard, and others as determined by the Provost and President's Cabinet Respond to surveys as well as other internal and external requests for data and information. Collaborate with other departments to design and sometimes administer surveys and other data collection instruments. Design and undertake special research projects Assist faculty and administration in preparing institutional data for grant proposals and other reports Establish and maintain relationships with College personnel as needed to support efforts in retention, strategic planning, budgeting, assessment of student learning and academic program review Maintain portions of the College web site that publish institutional data Be knowledgeable of trends and new developments in the field of institutional research Perform other duties as assigned Requirements MA/MS degree, Ph.D. preferred in a relevant field (statistics, research methodology, social sciences) Proven experience in institutional research or a related field, preferably in an educational setting. data collection, analysis, and reporting Strong analytical and statistical skills, with proficiency in data analysis software Demonstrated organizational ability, strong presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population Ability to plan and implement projects with a college-wide impact Demonstrated ability to give attention to detail Knowledge of higher education trends and challenges; experience in higher education highly desirable
