Job Description The Director of Radiology manages all imaging services for Northwest Health Porter. This includes radiology, interventional and computerized imaging, nuclear medicine, and sonography at multiple locations. The role is a high level leadership position responsible for day to day operations, staff engagement, patient experience, and strategy and development. The Director interacts frequently with physician partners, interdisciplinary teams, and senior leadership. Graduate of CAHEA/JRCERT accredited program in Radiologic Science, or equivalent from accredited university or college. (Diploma Required) Certifications/Experience: Minimum of five to ten years' clinical experience with at least five years' experience in a relevant leadership role preferred. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, or equivalent. Certified by the ISDH General Responsibilities: Manages the Northwest Health Departments of Diagnostic Imaging. Directs departmental activities for delivery of professional service in radiology, interventional and computerized imaging, nuclear medicine and sonography. Applies high level leadership, independent decision making, strong interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills. In collaboration with the medical director, recommends performance improvement relating to service and customer satisfaction. Maintains standards of quality required by regulatory and accrediting agencies. Ensures that age specific competency of all staff members is assessed, maintained, demonstrated, and improved on a continued basis. Attitude - Provides highest quality service and meeting customers' needs with utmost kindness, care, compassion, courtesy, empathy, respect and friendliness. Always acknowledges and serves customers with a friendly, open smile and direct eye contact. Appearance - Takes pride in personal appearance, the facility and its surroundings.
