Director of FinanceOverview of the Company and Director of Finance Opportunity: - CFS is working with a local organization to identify a Director of Finance to oversee all accounting and purchasing activities.
- The Director of Finance will have three direct reports.
- The ideal candidate is a people person and a go-getter.
Overview of the Director of Finance role: - Ensure compliance of all accounting and purchasing activities, revise procedures and policies as required, remain up-to-date on applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Perform cash flow analysis, prepare financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with the Executive and Department Directors
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, present financial reports to the Board
- Maintain the finance and accounting database
Preferred Qualifications for the Director of Finance: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Five years of related experience, including three years of supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
