Position Overview: The Director of Finance will be responsible for leading the financial activities of the organization, including financial planning and strategy, financial reporting, and management of accounting operations. This position will be a key contributor to the organizations success by providing superior financial analysis and advice to the executive team and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and meet overall objectives
- Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audit management
- Manage the accounting operations and financial systems of the organization to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Provide guidance and support on budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
- Develop and coordinate the financial policies and procedures of the organization
- Provide analysis and advice on financial reporting and financial planning
- Oversee the financial aspects of the organizations manufacturing operations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Maintain relationships with banking and financial partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial accounting, and accounting operations
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and strategy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and accounting software
