Director of Embedded Systems Sales and Business Development
100% remote / work from any US location

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the growth of company's Embedded Systems business in the USA.

• Cultivate relationships with potential customers (OEMs & Tier-1) aligned with company's market applications and technological focus, converting leads into opportunities.

• Oversee the entire sales process from lead qualification to securing design/project contracts.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver tailored proposals and quotations, ensuring alignment with customer needs.

• Maintain accurate forecasts and deal statuses in the company's CRM system.

• Strategize and expand the opportunity pipeline to meet business targets.

• Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts within the business unit.

• Support regional marketing events to drive brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.

• Foster partnerships with software and hardware vendors to enhance business channels.

• Provide market insights to the engineering team for informed technology development and long-term business growth.

• Ensure sales activities uphold business margins and profitability.

Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.

• Established network and relationships with high-tech system companies specializing in complex embedded systems for Automotive, Industrial/IOT, and Aerospace sectors.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings and internal discussions.

• Proven ability to establish trust and rapport with customer engineering leaders and executives.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; MBA or MSEE preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of successful embedded sales experience with a focus on C-level engagement, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing complex sales cycles.

• Overall, at least 15 years of experience in enterprise technology sales.
