GENERAL FUNCTION The Director Talent Acquisition is a key member of the EyeCare Team with responsibility for the strategic leadership of the talent acquisition function for EyeCare and RONA brands. The position leads a direct & indirect recruitment team, designs and builds effective recruitment models, strategic sourcing and hiring strategies for our Optometrists (ODs). MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Counsels Brand and EyeCare Leaders in the proactive development of recruitment strategies relevant to the network. Design, develops and implements optimal recruitment models including internal recruitment teams and external vendors to support business growth and change. Lead and develop a direct & indirect team, development next level talent. Own the recruitment strategy for Employed and Subleased ODs and determining service providers, vendor contracts, KPI's and programs that meet the business needs Creates innovative programs, partnerships with industry associations, events, and campaigns that generate EssilorLuxottica brand awareness relevant for the operations network, building talent pipeline, and drive recruiting efforts across key target areas. Owns and develops University campus pathway programs into the EyeCare network Develops and implements internal and external recruiting strategies that improve overall quality of hire & elevates talent Provides thought leadership and partnership to Brand and HR leaders to drive the internal mobility process across the network. Develop, track and analyze talent metrics to measure and quantify success, influence talent strategies on key performance indicators (KPIs) Creates, communicates, and integrates workforce planning goals and concepts across the RONA Brands, collaborating with leaders to identify & recommend solutions to talent gaps. Continuous Improvement. Stays abreast of innovation in the field of talent acquisition and recommends best practices to embed EssilorLuxottica as a leader in strategic talent acquisition. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in HR, Business or related area 10+ years of Recruitment experience across Agency & In-house environments 5+ years team leadership, demonstrated examples of team growth Background leading & implementing high volume recruitment projects Demonstrated strategic thinking, negotiation and project management skills Background owning recruitment change management across; TA processes, policies & team structures Strong knowledge of current market practices and trends in talent acquisition Thought leader; strategic and progressive thinker - uses data and analytics to drive decision making PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA OR Masters degree Experience either internationally or within a matrixed global consumer business in US Medical or Optical industry experience Doctor recruitment experience Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
