JOB SUMMARY

Manages and develops the Data & Analytics team while coordinating the overall operations, project requirements and related activities. Will create a high-quality mindset within the organization and work on utilizing automation in data management. In addition will drive the vision, strategy and operationalize the Data Governance, Reporting and Analytics needs of the organization. Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing functions to define and implement the necessary processes in staging data for catalogues required for B2B Commerce and other strategic initiatives. Take a lead role for data conversions for M&A activities, this includes planning and execution. Manages the support of design, development, testing and deployment of SAP enhancements as it relates to data management.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership and Development

  • Manages the Master Data team to ensure integrity and quality of data.
  • Participates in hiring process to build a strong team.
  • Provides daily leadership and conducts annual performance reviews.
  • Establishes performance objectives, training plans, and future state goals.

Data Governance and Strategy

  • Defines and implements data strategy, policies, and controls.
  • Ensures alignment of master data rules with operational requirements.
  • Establishes Data Governance Council and manages data workflows.
  • Identifies and prioritizes data governance projects and resolves escalated issues.

Data Quality Improvement

  • Identifies areas for data quality improvement.
  • Challenges status quo for cross-functional data approaches.
  • Conducts analysis and audits to identify maintenance projects.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Manages design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP enhancements.
  • Supports data migration and manages scope and timeline of data projects.
  • Aligns data architecture with business visualization needs.
  • Drives Data & Analytics Enablement vision, gaining buy-in and developing delivery roadmap.
  • Leads capability adoption, training, and fosters a team culture of ownership and collaboration.

EXPERIENCE

Requires a minimum of 5 years related work experience in data management and analytics. Experience in a business-to-business account support and distribution role helpful. Requires working knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures related to data governance as well. Working knowledge of SAP master data will be a plus.

EDUCATION.

Required: Bachelor s degree or 7-10 years relevant experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must be highly proficient in MS Excel, in addition to other MS Office software; 3-5 years of SAP Master Data functionality. Experience with Microsoft O365, including SharePoint, PowerPoint and MS Outlook, MDM/PIM product experience.
