As the Director of Customer Marketing, you'll drive the overall customer marketing strategy, from onboarding and retention to advocacy and expansion. You'll work closely with both Product and Customer Success organizations to drive adoption and satisfaction across a thriving community of users around the world. This position reports to the Vice President of Product Marketing.

What you'll do
  • Develop all up customer marketing strategy with focus on advocacy, expansion, and satisfaction.
  • Spearhead customer advocacy initiatives aligned to product & solution narratives that amplify our customers' success and foster brand loyalty. You will deliver the requisite case studies, references and community needed to drive our next wave of growth.
  • Create strategic insights from across our customer base to help influence roadmap, growth, and customer satisfaction. Mine market insights to inform strategic marketing decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between marketing strategies, sales requirements, product vision and overall business objectives. As part of this, you will partner closely with Product on how we drive adoption of new capabilities across our global customer base; and work with the Services and Customer Success teams on driving expansion pipeline and new use cases.
  • Influence and help to shape our customer community events as well as online community.
Who you are
  • At least 5+ years of direct Customer Marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated expert in building world-class customer advocacy programs.
  • Go-to-market & Cross-functional partnership: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Customer Success and Marketing teams to bring new products to market, drive expansion, and learn from customers.
  • Technical sensibility: You don't necessarily have a technical background, but you love experimenting with new tools and you have a personal interest in AI.
  • Strong collaborator: track record of working effectively with partners in Product, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication: Able to crisply articulate a vision for an Airtable that resonates with internal stakeholders like sales and marketing, and inspires customers to implement Airtable solutions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: We are in the early days of the AI era, so must be comfortable breaking new ground on process and principles in delivering those solutions.
