JOB SUMMARY: Direct management and leadership of the construction function. Additionally, oversight of centralized scheduling. involved in all aspects of operations including budgeting, strategy, analyzing data, document control and driving operations to meet required business scorecard results. will work closely with all other functional areas (sales, purchasing, finance, studio, dup) to ensure results are maintained and achieved. will be involved in the design and approval of overall ops strategy, new communities, meeting with land planners and local communities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with all functional departments to promote a culture of accountability and lead teams to achieve all KBU standards, non-negotiable and scorecard metrics. Set strategy and business goals to include CSI results, 100% complete/readiness, community teams. Goal setting, tracking, measuring, follow up, product knowledge, trends, communication and supervision with regard to construction/customer service standards. Ensure development of direct reports as it relates to KBH standards, residential building products/codes, purchasing, studio, state/federal compliance and regulations, architecture and centralized scheduling. Maintain good relationships with all vendors, trade partners and subcontractors and ensure compliance with KBH standards. Work with direct reports and other functional areas to resolve and customer complaints. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education Degree preferred HS Diploma required Experience Thorough knowledge of homebuilding industry Ability to lead, delegate and organize work flow to produce expected results Technical efficient Knowledge of Federal/State residential standards, compliance and regulation Manage large groups of people in remote locations preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Any relevant certifications preferred SWWPS Safety, OSHA Able to train and develop employees Critical thinking Problem Solving Find out why KB Home is attracting and retaining the best employees.
