We are seeking an experienced and strong clinical leader to join our team as the Director of Clinical Services at Featherstone. In this pivotal role, you will oversee both our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing departments, ensuring the maintenance of quality standards of care in accordance with federal, state, and Featherstone's guidelines and policies.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage all clinical programs, ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of clinical and care coordinator team members.
  • Conduct consistent and ongoing audits of nursing programs, identifying areas of improvement, and developing and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care and services provided to residents.
  • Oversee the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and the Interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing and maintains current state license as a professional Registered Nurse per Iowa regulations.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse and 2-3 years minimum of nursing management experience including hiring staff, coaching, discipline, and counseling.
  • Knowledgeable with IDPH and JCAHO regulations.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings & flexible hours as needed for resident care/services.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Energetic, professional with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, team player, compassionate understanding of eldercare.
