The Cath Lab plays a critical role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases by performing minimally invasive procedures. As the Director, you'll be responsible for ensuring its smooth operation, high-quality patient care, and staff development. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing strategic leadership and direction for the Cath Lab, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare landscape.

Developing and maintaining a high-performing team by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Recruiting, onboarding, and retaining qualified Cath Lab professionals.

Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Ensuring compliance with all accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission).

Creating and managing the Cath Lab budget to optimize resource utilization.

Overseeing inventory management of essential equipment and supplies.

Collaborating with physicians to ensure seamless patient care coordination.

Staying current on advancements in cardiovascular technology and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (RN), radiology (RT), or Cardiovascular Technology (CVT).

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.

Minimum Experience:

5 years of experience working in Cardiovascular Services.

2 years of management experience in a related healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience: Prior experience as a Director of Cardiovascular Services

Required Certifications/Licensure:

Current Texas State License in Nursing (RN) or Radiology Technology (RT) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)

Possession of one or more of the following certifications: AART (American Association for Respiratory Therapy), ACVT (American Cardiovascular Technologist), RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist)
