ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and client-oriented Director of Business Operations to join our Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Consulting practice in Herndon, VA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: In partnership with AI practice leadership, implement ManTech's AI Consulting strategic vision. Provides daily operational direction and coordination of program planning, integration, control, and resource management. Performs department financial tracking (e.g., cost, revenue, GP, book-to-bill) and pipeline management. Directs a matrixed team to oversee program planning, staffing, and budgetary matters to ensure timely delivery of contractual commitments and internal initiatives . Directs a matrixed team to oversee delivery excellence activities for the AI Consulting Practice Communicates with AI practice leadership, Subject Matter Experts (SME's), and peers within the business unit to identify and resolve problems and challenges to ensure sound execution of internal and client facing initiatives. Successfully resolve issues requiring senior level (client and corporate) attention Supports business development activities to meet strategic objectives and annual operation/long range strategic plan goals. Identifies, develops, and implements efficiencies that enhance productivity and/or reduce overall contract costs to the government. Leads, guides and mentors team members and employees to enable growth. Less than 25% travel required to various client sites for project oversite as needed . Required Qualifications: BS degree in engineering, computer science, or business with 10+ years of experience 7+ years of experience in consulting for the United States Federal Government 7+ years of experience working with advanced analytics methods, and 5 years working with Artificial Intelligence Expertise in Program Leadership, Contract Management, and coordination across multiple large and small scale projects. Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop/lead a high performing team focused on the client's mission. Strong understanding of US Federal organizations and strategic direction Outstanding people skills, analytic, and problem-solving skills Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: MBA, PMP or equivalent as appropriate for level of appointment/profession Experience working with Cloud Service Providers; and AI software and frameworks. Security Clearance Requirement: Active/current TS/SCI clearance is required; polygraph is preferred.
