Overview:
The Director of Benefits and Compensation will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive benefits and compensation programs that align with the company's goals and values. This senior position requires a dynamic leader who can manage and enhance employee benefits and compensation strategies to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement benefits and compensation strategies that support the company's business objectives and ensure competitive positioning in the market.
  • Program Management: Oversee the administration of all benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Compensation Management: Design and manage competitive compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and executive compensation packages.
  • Compliance: Ensure all benefits and compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with benefits brokers, consultants, and vendors to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Employee Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively inform employees about benefits and compensation programs.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for benefits and compensation programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial goals.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of benefits and compensation data to identify trends, assess effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the benefits and compensation team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in benefits and compensation management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to lead and manage a team
    • In-depth knowledge of benefits and compensation regulations and best practices
