Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Director of Behavioral Health to join our team in the non-profit industry. This role is crucial in leading our organization's mental health initiatives and ensuring the overall well-being of our employees. The ideal candidate is a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD, PsyD or EdD with a strong background in behavioral health, clinical supervision, and establishing protocols. They should also have a deep understanding and experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This role will require a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and implementation of behavioral health strategies and initiatives within the organization.
2. Provide clinical supervision and guidance to the behavioral health team, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
3. Establish protocols for the assessment, treatment, and referral of employees with mental health issues.
4. Conduct regular training and workshops to promote mental health awareness and resilience among employees.
5. Collaborate with other departments to integrate behavioral health strategies into overall corporate wellness programs.
6. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure the effectiveness and compliance of behavioral health programs.
7. Implement Acceptance and Commitment Therapy strategies as appropriate and provide guidance to the team on its application.
8. Provide consultation and support to management in handling sensitive behavioral health issues.
9. Stay updated with the latest research and developments in behavioral health and incorporate relevant findings into the organization's programs.

Qualifications:

1. Must have a Doctorate degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, or a related field.
2. Must be a licensed clinical psychologist or doctor.
3. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in behavioral health management in a corporate setting.
4. Extensive experience in providing clinical supervision and establishing protocols.
5. Proven experience in implementing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy strategies.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
9. Knowledge of the Engineering industry is a plus.
10. Commitment to promoting mental wellness in the workplace.
