Our client is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Director of Accounts Receivable to join its fast-paced, high growth team.

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function, including invoicing, collections, cash applications, credit management, and dispute resolution.
2. Developing and implementing A/R policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
3. Leading, mentoring, and developing the A/R team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
4. Collaborating with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
5. Analyzing and reporting on A/R metrics, providing insights to senior management on cash flow, aging trends, and potential risks.
6. Managing customer credit profiles, conducting credit checks, and setting credit limits in line with company policy.
7. Working closely with the finance team to support month-end close processes, audits, and financial reporting.
8. Driving process improvements and system enhancements to improve A/R efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable management, preferably in retail / wholesale industry.
2. Proven experience in managing a high-performing A/R team.
3. Strong understanding of business dynamics and the ability to navigate complex business situations.
4. Extensive experience in credit management, including conducting credit checks and setting credit limits.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems highly preferred.
8. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting preferred.
