POSITION: Director, Long-Term Agreements

LOCATION: Within the U.S. (Jupiter, FL preferred)

JOB SUMMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Meet monthly, quarterly and annual volume and as-sold margin objectives in sales of Company designed and manufactured OEM-compatible products for industrial gas turbines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, market and sell long term service, maintenance and parts agreements to customers predominantly in North America.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key customer personnel at the Executive Level as well as with the plant personnel.
  • Represent Company at industry meetings, trade shows and conferences.
  • Negotiate key contracts in cooperation with Company Contracts and Legal personnel.
  • Gather and analyze market feedback and intelligence and participate in development of Company commercial strategy and tactics.
  • Provide input to engineering on desirable and required product features and forecast volumes to manufacturing
  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education & Training
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred) or another technical field
  • Master's Degree is desirable
Skills/Experience
  • 10+ years of experience with OEM gas turbine combustion systems highly desired.
  • 10+ years of experience in design, service, repair or manufacturing of industrial gas turbines and components, including familiarity with F class machines.
  • 5+ years of experience in a lead position in sales force in gas turbine aftermarket.
  • Ability to review, understand, and communicate critical terms and conditions during the tendering phase both internally & with customers. Specific Terms would be warranty, downstream damage or unplanned maintenance, termination clauses.
  • Strong technical and Project management skills, and understanding of parts rotations, reconditioning scopes, field service, and monitoring.
  • Financial understanding of cash flows, parts credits, milestone payments, types of agreements, and execution of the contracts.
  • Recent experience with F class Gas Turbines, including responsibility of Long-Term Agreement contracts.
  • Ability to be the lead in customer negotiations with the customer within corporate risk review guidelines.
  • Candidate must be a high-energy self-starter who has a proven record of accomplishment of meeting company goals and objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Up to 30% travel is required, including foreign travel.
