Overview

The Director of HR & Talent Management for Radiant Vision Systems is responsible for the development and integration of talent strategies, systems and programs that support the organization's mission, vision, values and business strategy. A thought partner and collaborator with deep and broad understanding of human resources management who commands the respect of and works effectively with all levels in the organization, an accomplished global leadership team, and colleagues with diverse human resources and talent acquisition needs.

The HR Director works closely with the Executive Vice President and senior leadership team at Radiant headquarters to develop and implement effective people strategies and tactics to support and enable execution of the business' strategic objectives. The HR Director leads a two person and is responsible for ensuring they meet standards through mentoring, coaching and sharing of best practices.


Responsibilities

  • Identifying strategic talent needs of the organization and driving talent acquisition, retention and development efforts; identifying new and curating existing learning resources Institutionalizing consistent yet adaptable people management strategies and programs including performance management, succession planning, mentoring and employee development
  • Establishing and managing policies and procedures for international, local and US-based staff, including appropriate benefits and compensation programs compliant with applicable US and country laws
  • Developing and supporting the implementation of a common set of talent management standards of operation to ensure consistency and adherence to proven practices
  • Overseeing development and implementation of global performance standards in support of organizational goals, objectives and talent development needs
  • Maintaining a high-quality central HR function, including appropriate technology, systems and tools, including the use of metrics and people data to inform key decisions
  • Providing critical services and supporting all Radiant's global operations in complex environments, while serving as business partner to country offices, their leadership and local HR professionals
  • Providing support to staff on employee relations issues, including workplace concerns, policy issues, safety and security
  • Leading the bi-annual global employee survey initiative; ensuring timely dissemination of reports, supporting action planning and reporting, and overall staff engagement
  • Partnering with General Counsel/Ethics Officer in operational leadership on legal and ethics matters
  • In collaboration with senior leadership, supporting key organizational initiatives, including strategic planning, change management and process improvement efforts
  • Directing the Human Resources department (with a US-based staff to overseas HR staff) to achieve a vibrant, healthy, supportive and high performing team
  • Contributing fully in regular meetings and initiatives as a member of the organization's Leadership Team
  • Partner with executive leadership team to understand business strategy and define/align HR priorities to ensure achievement of business goals
  • Act as a trusted adviser and thought partner on operational and strategic business issues. Drive workforce planning efforts in alignment with short and long-term business needs
  • Recommend recruiting strategies to attract top talent and lead successful efforts
  • Oversee the employee management process centered on an environment that recognizes, appreciates and rewards top performance, as well as properly coaching, counseling, developing and monitoring improvement plans and/or exit strategies for underperformers
  • Build and facilitate an annual process to identify, assess and develop successors and high-potentials. Strengthen the process for evaluating the skills, performance and potential of talent in all businesses and areas. Ensure that assignment and advancement decisions clearly reflect those assessments so that the best performers are recognized and rewarded, training and development needs are addressed, and performance issues are handled
  • Work in tandem with leadership to set, monitor, approve, and ensure consistency of compensation for the entire company. Perform market studies to ensure market competitiveness
  • Administer employee benefit plans. Work with third party vendors to evaluate and compare existing employee benefits with those of other employers. With the Director of Finance, negotiate and implement employee benefit contracts
  • Implement HR metrics and analytics that measure value, efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Benchmark best practices internally and externally and adjust as needed with applicable emerging trends
  • Develop an integrated employee communications plan that aligns key elements of performance culture, talent management, individual development and employee engagement.
  • Assess organizational climate and implement organizational changes as appropriate to drive employee engagement.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of relevant regulatory issues, of professional or industry substantive codes and of federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of HR disciplines by executing flawlessly on HR fundamentals and introducing HR best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree desired
  • At least 10 years of human resources leadership experience in positions of increasing responsibility and success
  • Developing country experience and foreign languages (French, Spanish, or Portuguese) desired
  • Experience selecting, implementing and institutionalizing HR IT systems
  • Expert HR technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and a strong operational focus
  • Proven ability to operate in a decentralized and geographically diverse organizational structure
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, ranging from executive team members to staff

Compensation Min Max

$125,000 - $185,000

This position is eligible for experience specific compensation ranges based on candidate experience, compensation will be aligned and determined based on this criteria. Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
