We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth and a deep understanding of the Aerospace and Defense sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strategic relationships, and driving the company's strategic goals. This role requires a strong leader who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, translating business strategies into actionable plans.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's long-term goals.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Aerospace and Defense sector, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities.
3. Lead and manage the business development team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry leaders.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
6. Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes, adjusting business strategies as necessary.
7. Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
8. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, promoting our brand and establishing our position as a leader in the manufacturing industry.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on the Aerospace and Defense sector.
3. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies.
4. Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
6. Deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and the Aerospace and Defense sector.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and apply it to business strategies.
8. Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.
9. High level of integrity, professionalism, and a passion for driving business growth.
