Summary/Overview:

KBRA (Kroll Bond Rating Agency, LLC) is seeking an experienced Analyst (Director level) to join our growing Financial Institutions team. This role will be focused on credit ratings and research primarily on banking institutions and is based in the Frederick, Maryland office.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial statements of banks and other financial institutions for rating recommendations.
  • Prepare committee memos, research reports, and supporting analytical materials.
  • Work with other team members on the production of industry reports.
  • Present rating recommendations to KBRA rating committees and participate in external management meetings with rated financial institutions and investor meetings/calls.
  • Monitor portfolio of financial institutions for significant developments.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced graduate degree and/or CFA designation is preferred.
  • Six (6) or more years of work experience within a financial institution or rating agency.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentations skills are essential.
  • Strong knowledge and utilization of Excel.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Relevant experience in credit analysis, credit ratings and/or banking transactions.
Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $155,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
