With your deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, as a Director, Consumer Insights & Analytics of Kimberly-Clark North America (KCNA) Family Care, you'll lead a team in uncovering 360-degree human understanding to inspire growth-minded decisions and further a data-driven culture. Your team will influence and empower decisions across long-term and annual business strategies, innovation strategy and development, revenue growth management strategies and marketing execution optimization. As an influential strategic business leader, you will build strong partnerships across the Family Care business including serving as a vital voice of the consumer with senior leaders, brand strategists, marketers, engineers, and designers. You will provide leadership and feedback in the development across a range of Insights & Analytics (I&A) agenda of standards and capabilities. It starts with YOU. In this role, you will: Own the overall development and activation of Family Care's I&A agenda to reflect the most important consumer questions for the business in support of top tier growth goals. Building and aligning business stakeholders on the annual I&A agenda. Lead individually or with team on critical projects or processes that disproportionately impact the business unit's growth goals. Providing hands on guidance and oversight to team on critical projects and analyses. Relentlessly drive toward a 360-degree understanding of our consumers across the consumer journey; provoking continuous improvement and motivating adoption of tools to further this effort. Serve as subject matter expert for team in designing, explaining, and providing recommendations in consumer research. Leading supplier conversations in complex situations. Lead resourceful and fiscally responsible mindset by ensuring previous custom research, analytics, syndicated and other internal resources are incorporated into learning plans and analyses. Championing knowledge management system across the organization. Lead the Family Care consumer insights team, establishing clear accountabilities and ways of working within the team and across key stakeholders. Continuously check/adjust to drive clarity and maximize team performance. Recruit, interview and hire as openings become available. Providing day-to-day coaching and guidance to develop individuals that align to business and individual needs. Simplifying complex decisions for direct reports and team and demonstrate strong rationale. Ensuring timely performance discussions and individual development plans. Building and executing I&A training plans to upskill the total KCNA I&A organization in critical areas. Enabling career pathing in line with development opportunities. Maximize the Family Care consumer learning plan investment by assuring that learning agendas and resources are aligned to strategic areas for the business and drive towards value creation. Provide oversight, expertise, and guidance to suppliers in designing complex consumer research, interpreting data, writing reports, and communicating actionable recommendations. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in consumer insights including quantitative and qualitative research 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performance teams within a consumer insights and analytics function Direct experience leading, designing, executing, and reporting primary market research. Deep understanding of integrating consumer insights fundamentals including primary & secondary consumer research, syndicated research, positioning & communication development, and strategic business analysis into business, innovation, and marketing strategies. This includes segmentation, need states, concept and product development/validation, test and learn approaches, design/packaging testing, creative optimization and more. Innovative problem-solver who leverages consumer insights and analytics to support strategic decision-making and challenge the status quo. Experienced in building high-performing teams that develop strong partnerships with stakeholders and encourage professional growth. Committed to creating a fun and rewarding work environment. Demonstrated success in driving business results through objective and fact-based analysis, understanding market dynamics, and translating consumer insights into actionable strategies.
