How you will Achieve More with Intellia:

As the Director, Enterprise Applications, you will be the lead IT Business Partner for Intellia's Corporate Functions including: HR, Finance, Legal, Business Development, Operations, Program & Portfolio Management, and Communications & Investor Relations. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, management, and support of Enterprise Systems to support our growing business. This is a hands-on leadership role, and we are looking for someone who will build the team while leading projects.


In this role, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging stakeholders from Corporate Functions and organizational leadership to develop a mission and vision for the Enterprise Systems team

  • In partnership with key business stakeholders, align IT with key company goals and priorities by driving and implementing strategies that leverage technology

  • Identifying and developing Enterprise Systems roles and design/execute a strategic sourcing strategy to deliver the agreed-upon Enterprise Systems goals and objectives

  • Providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to the Enterprise Systems staff.

  • Evaluating opportunities to improve the planning, support, and management of Enterprise Systems in concert with Intellia's IT PMO

  • Overseeing and optimizing how we leverage employees, Managed Service Providers, and contingent workers to support our applications

  • Utilizing SDLC best practices to plan, implement, and support Enterprise Systems across your key business areas

  • IT Governance: Chair the Functional Steering Committee for G&A to prioritize projects requested by the departments and align on resources


About You:

You are a strategic IT partner and trusted advisor with proven Enterprise Applications experience. You are a strong people leader who is excited about the challenge of managing a team as well as developing systems and processes that allow Intellia to scale from late phase clinical studies to a commercial organization.


You also have experience with the following:

  • Leading the identification and implementation of Enterprise Systems and processes at a company that became a commercial organization

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executive leadership, key stakeholders and project teams to drive project delivery

  • Extensive knowledge of best practices and techniques related to SDLC, SOX, GDPR, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11

  • You have extensive experience with Business process design and data modeling


Meet your future team:

This role will report directly to the Vice President, Information Technology. The IT team is made up of fifteen other individuals, who bring a range of experience and knowledge. This role currently has one direct report - a Business Analyst. While a small team, you will join a group of passionate individuals who enjoy working with one another. Within the IT team, you will partner with the IT PMO group which supports the implementation of our systems; the R&D Systems group which supports systems for Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, TechOps, and Research; the Infrastructure and Operations team; and our Governance, Risk, and Compliance team.


The IT team is currently a mix of remote, hybrid, and onsite, and we are open to applicants working remotely for this role. Although in a virtual environment, the group has made it a priority to continue to foster a sense of community. This includes virtual happy hours, team all-hands meetings, game nights, and more. You can expect to join a hardworking, collaborative environment.
