Director, Commercial Strategy & Operations

Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Strategy & GM of Self-Pay, the Director, Commercial Strategy & Operations will work cross-functionally across the business to help shape the company's growth strategy and facilitate execution of our highest priority initiatives. This individual will play a pivotal role in facilitating strategic planning, executing market analysis, and sizing new and existing growth pathways, managing the sales pipeline and deal review process, reporting against growth goals & KPIs, and driving operational excellence across the organization. Additionally, they may be asked to drive key cross-functional initiatives in support of the Chief Commercial Officer and Vice President, Commercial Strategy, including product and/or process innovations that accelerate the team's progress towards our near and long-term growth objectives. The ideal candidate combines an exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skillset with fierce curiosity, creative and collaborative problem-solving, and excellent project management.

Salary range: $126,000 - $165,000

Position Requirements may include, but not limited to
  • Partner with the VP, Commercial Strategy on the strategic planning process
  • Optimize and scale the Commercial (Sales) team "operating system", including external market analysis, opportunity sizing, pipeline management and deal review, RFP process, and setting KPIs
  • Partner with Data Analytics, Marketing, and Customer Care to understand, report on, and make recommendations to accelerate or improve key drivers of performance across the business
  • Drive implementation of high priority initiatives, coordinating across cross-functional teams to drive project execution, foster collaboration, and ensure timely delivery with measurable outcomes
  • Represent Commercial team priorities in key cross-functional projects or meetings, acting as an extension of the CCO or VP, Commercial Strategy
  • Lead ad hoc strategic projects
  • Develop Commercial team L&D content, including insight into external market dynamics, emerging trends, or new competitors
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's' degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of management consulting, sales or growth strategy, sales operations, or other relevant experience, ideally in healthcare or another regulated industry with B2B & DTC lines of business
  • Growth-minded, results-oriented self-starter with a strong track record of delivering measurable impact via big picture initiatives, process optimization, and exceptional day-to-day execution
  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail; very comfortable analyzing data via Microsoft Excel and/or PowerBI to uncover actionable insights and visualizing output for diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated experience iterating on complex processes and/or building tools or frameworks to increase efficiency and ROI
  • Deeply curious and creative problem-solver with a bias towards action; confident navigating ambiguity and enthusiastic about rolling up your sleeves to drive impact
  • Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and facilitate alignment in a highly cross-functional environment
  • Extremely organized with excellent project & pipeline management skills
