From Yankton to Irene, Wakonda and Beresford, from Marion to Sioux Falls, & from Brandon to Brookings, we are Interim HealthCare.
We are assisting a local Brookings-area Long Term Care facility to help find a qualified Cook . This position is a Direct-to-Hire position where you would be brought onboard by this organization.
The primary purpose of this position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, with the facility's established policies and procedures, and may be directed by the Certified Dietary Manager, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
Duties include but are not limited to: Review menus prior to preparation of food. Inspect special diet trays to assure that the correct diet is served to the resident. Prepare food in accordance with planned menus. Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance. Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
- Pay range: determined by experience
- Full Time Days
- Shift time: 5:30 am - 5:30 pm
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must have covid vaccine or exemption
- Servesafe Certified Preferred
