Production Supervisor - DIRECT HIRE - Lincoln

Location: 34 Bern Dibner Drive, Lincoln NH 03251
Reports to Operations Manager
Weekend hours: Friday and Monday: 6am-3:30pm, Sat/Sun 6am-6pm.

Direct Hire Details

This is a Direct Hire permanent position with Hubbell
Supplier to receive a one-time Permanent Placement Fee based on individuals first yearly base salary upon successful start (fee is pursuant to executed MSP Contractual agreement)
Supplier will be involved during the recruitment and hiring process
Hubbell HR will be extending the offer directly to candidate and provide details of the offer once accepted
Upon acceptance of offer, Hubbell with communicate directly with candidate the onboarding requirements and process
Supplier will be provided the targeted start date and will receive updates on status throughout process
Upon a successful start date, email communication with be sent to Supplier as to the details of the placement fee and invoice needed for payment processing

Salary Exempt: - (plus Hubbell Benefit Package)

Relocation assistance OR sign-on bonus (value not defined but is more than k)
Supplier must include the candidates desired salary at time of submittal
This salaried position will require flexibility of shift hours based on Business needs

Weekend Shift Hours:
Friday- 8 hours
Saturday - 12 hours
Sunday - 12 hours
Monday - 8 Hours

Interview Process

1st Round: Microsoft Teams interview with Human Resources Business Partner (30-min)
2nd Round:

Local candidate: Onsite interview & Facility Tour with Plant Manager and Operations Manager (1-2 hours)
Non-Local candidate: Microsoft Teams interview with Plant Manager and Operations Manager (1-hour)

An Onsite interview & Facility Tour will then be required with a 3rd Round interview

Job Summary:
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in production of electrical connectors and/or installation tools.

Roles & Responsibilities: include the following

Works closely with Production Control Planners to develop production schedules and to maximize utilization of equipment for minimum set-up and maximum operating conditions.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
Supports merit review program and employee bid process.
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigning duties.
Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
Eliminates waste and develops cost reductions thorough tooling modifications, planned maintenance, etc.
Suggests changes and works closely with both Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering to improve working conditions, productivity, efficiency, quality and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Develops capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost and cycle times.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages 10-35 non-supervisory employees
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Qualifications
Education we do need at least a high school diploma with 10 years of supervisory experience
If they have a bachelors degree 3 plus years of supervisory experience, Associate degree at least 5 plus years of supervisor experience.
