Position Overview:
As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing temporary relief and support to individuals with special needs. Your efforts will allow primary caregivers to take a break and recharge, knowing their loved ones are in capable and caring hands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals with special needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Engage in meaningful activities and support individuals' emotional and social well-being.
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and the team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact.
- Previous experience in caregiving, direct care, or related roles is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and any other necessary certifications.
