Responsibilities Director of Clinical Services Roxbury is currently hiring a Director of Clinical Services to oversee the clinical programs on our Substance Use Disorder unit and Acute Psychiatric units. This is a senior leader position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The Director of Inpatient Clinical Services is a key member of the Roxbury Hospital leadership team who supervises social work and mental health/allied therapy staff to ensure that in-services programming occurs on a regular basis. The Director manages the clinical operation of Roxbury Hospital through creation and implementation of clinical programming and supervision of clinical staff. This position provides on-site leadership and daily direction for the clinical product of both the residential and acute levels of care. and performs duties in support of Roxbury's mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in a culturally sensitive and advanced fashion. The Director must possess knowledge of dual diagnosis/chemical dependency/mental health patients; age-specific patient issues, limit setting and behavior management, crisis prevention and intervention techniques; knowledge and comprehension of regulatory agency standards (DDAP, DPW, CMS, Joint Commission, etc.); staff development procedures and requirements; ability to communicate orally, telephonically, and in writing; working knowledge of computer systems and various software. Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player. Good documentation, organization and time management skills are necessary. Must be effective in decision-making and problem solving.
