Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Full time position at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. Flushing Hospital is a 300-bed teaching hospital established in 1884, providing essential medical care to the Queens community as part of the Medisys Health Network. In this role, the selected candidate will provide both outpatient and inpatient coverage. No weekends.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:
- maintain a strong working knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process, including nutrition standards of care for inpatient and outpatient settings;
- participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives;
- serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in committees and community outreach events as needed;
- mentor and train dietetic interns; and
- efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) ( Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master's degree)
Credentials Requirement:
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
