For information about benefits and eligibility, see .The hourly wage range for this position is $17.40 to $46.95.The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Duties and Responsibilities Service Shop Repair Technician: You will perform company guide lined inspections, repairs, and replacements on Walmart equipment, as well as filing warrantable repairs by entering accurate information on the condition, cause, and correction into our maintenance system. Your responsibilities will also include identifying parts needed and best possible solutions for repairs on Walmart equipment, following DOT regulations. Being ASE certified in brakes and PMI will make you stand out. Service Shop Preventative Maintenance Technician: You will perform company guide lined inspections, maintenance, repairs, and replacements on Walmart equipment. Your responsibilities will also include identifying parts needed and best possible solutions for repairs on Walmart equipment, following DOT regulations. Being ASE certified in brakes will make you stand out. Service Shop Technician III: You will be performing preventative maintenance and repairs on Walmart equipment, which includes everything from tractors and trailers to road trucks and shop equipment. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, maintaining, repairs and replacing major tractor advanced engine components, driveline components, advanced HVAC systems and communication equipment. Being a power user with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) software will make you stand out. Minimum QualificationsService Shop Entry Technician will require the following minimum qualifications: Valid state-issued driver's license.Service Shop Repair Technician will require the following minimum qualifications;2 years' experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair OR a technical school degree, or certification in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance. Valid state-issued driver's license.Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19.Service Shop Preventative Maintenance Technician will require the following minimum qualifications; Valid state-issued driver's license.Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.19Service Shop Technician III will require the following minimum qualifications; 3 years' experience in tractor and trailer inspection and repair to include advanced diagnostics.1 year's experience in HVAC and diagnostics.Valid state-issued driver's license.Brake inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.25.Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, Section 396.16.
